leah + jim ~ des moines wedding photographer

Jim and Leah’s day began in Ames and ended at Echo Valley on a perfect summers night. Simply put, the love that surrounds Jim and Leah is amazing. They both come from amazing families, and they both come from moms who have beaten cancer and who’s joy could be felt from across the room. During the dances I was a wreck watching it all unfold through my lens. Seeing the emotion on Leah’s moms face as she watched Leah danced with her dad, as well as seeing the emotion the wrapped around Jim and his Mom as they shared their dance was very powerful. This day was a testament to love as well as family. Thank you for letting me witness your day and I hope you enjoy the memories for a lifetime.
