what a fun wedding!

Karri and brian met in 2008 at SXSW, in Austin TX. Karri lived here in Iowa, Brian lived in NYC. They dated long distance until Karri made the craziest, yet smartest, decision and moved to NYC in the summer of 2009. The rest is filled with lots of love, and loads of laughter. Karri is a sweet heart. She has such a kind soul. I was thrilled with she asked me to do her wedding.

Some other amazing facts from this day:

Brians mom made all of the jewelry for the big day. She actually has a shop on Etsy. You can check it out here

Karri’s dad had two hip replacements the year leading up to the wedding. Having him be able to both, walk Karri down the aisle, and share in the lovely father/daughter dance was a big deal. This was extra, extra special to Karri.

They had friends live tweeting the wedding. Yes, they are that cool. #bkhitched.

Brians sister, Nicole, and a mutual friend, Gabe, both sung during the wedding.
